When this couple messaged me about wedding photos I was screaming with excitement! Not only was I excited for their commitment to each other, but it will have been my first ever wedding. I learned so much from this event, and I cannot thank and congratulate them enough. I've never seen two people more in sync than these two. Chad and Annika Bonny, congratulations (again). I am so happy for you both. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for this experience! 💘💘

Although I have done a handful of sessions with Sam, this has been my absolute favorite (so far!) and I am simply blown away. Sam has been one of the best I have worked with and each time is as memorable as the time before. We had been driving around Yamhill County on some back roads and happened to stumble upon a patch of these gorgeous purple flowers. Although there were some bumble bees and the flowers were practically taller than both of us, we had fun! Thank you Sam, for always being a joy to work with and willing to jump into flower jungles full of bumble bees. :)
This June I was honored to have the opportunity to watch these outstanding little ladies graduate. Kay graduating from McMinnville High School, and Abbey gradutating from Yamhill-Carlton High School. Both have participated in clubs and programs such as FFA and received honor cords and awards for college course completion, pathway completion, and FFA officers. Congratulations, Class of 2017!
This wonderful lady, who I have become very close friends with over the past six years, was such a treasure! Her sassy humor and contagious smile are definitely something I enjoyed during our session together. This may possibly be my new favorite collection... what do y'all think?
One of my favorite times of the year is spring, daffodils and tulips start to bloom and everyone's spirits seem to be lifted and joyful; which is what I wanted to capture in this particular session. These girls never fail to spread warm smiles and laughter to those surrounding them. Thank you Kaylyn and Samantha, as well as Wooden Shoe Farms for helping me create this shoot.
With the weather being so warm (when I mean warm I'm talking a tropical 60 degrees in Oregon warm), and the wonderful stretch of school-less days known as spring break, I decided to get together with two of my favorite models and plan an 'Ultimate Photo Weekend'. Although when planning and acting out The Ultimate Photo Weekend I never paused to think about how I would put together a blog post with a selection of over 200 pictures from this trip. I finally came to the conclusion that I would have to divide The Ultimate Photo Weekend into two parts. First, the beginning, which happened to be in downtown McMinnville, aka the best town on earth. Then lastly, the Wooden Shoe Tulip fields which are always a pleasure to visit.
So, if you've got some time on your hands because maybe you're procrastinating a project, or relaxing on the sofa after a long and tiring day, or whatever else you may be doing, please enjoy some precious and happy memories I was able to document from a trip I (and my amigas) will never forget. As always, enjoy, and don't forget to check out Part 2 of The Ultimate Photo Weekend, Wooden Shoe Tulips with Samantha and Kaylyn.
Just wanting to give you a little taste of what my home is like. From grapes, to hazelnuts, we've got it all...
